Small phone fans were disappointed when Apple restarted the iPhone SE earlier this year. The original was a small cell phone, and the SE simply puts a small display on a large body. Well, everyone, your time has come: the iPhone 12 Mini is here, and it’s actually legally small.
The 5.4-inch iPhone is smaller than both the iPhone SE with a 4.7-inch screen and the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro. With a flat design reminiscent of the iPhone 5 (and the current iPad) and a near-end-to-end display, it looks like the rest of the iPhone 12 lineup. That is, there is no Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
And like the other iPhones announced today, the 12 Mini has a 5G modem and a new antenna, which is fast (capable of receiving 5G signals), streaming video, playing games, apps and more. You can reduce the waiting time for content download. Apple calls it “the smallest, thinnest, and lightest 5G phone in the world.” The Mini also includes Apple’s A14 Bionic processor built at 5nm, so choosing a Mini over the larger iPhone 12 and choosing an OLED display instead of an LCD screen won’t sacrifice performance. There is none.
However, in addition to its small size, it is cheaper than other iPhone 12. This is because Apple has made some sacrifices. Triple lens camera system and stainless steel body are not available. Instead, the Mini features a black, blue, green, red, and white dual lens shooter and an aluminum case.
However, the iPhone 12 Mini, including the front camera, offers night mode, so you don’t have to use the 12 Pro just to take advantage of the features that are currently standard across smartphones.
I’m not sure if I can go back to a smaller iPhone after years of using a huge screen, but the idea that the iPhone can be slid into the front pocket for a comfortable fit is frank. It’s fun to say.
The iPhone 12 Mini starts at $ 700 ($ 977).
