Ask the Governor to explain omissions in Scott Morrison’s diary

However, the governor’s diary detailed numerous activities of the governor, including telephone calls, official functions, meetings, and swearing-in ceremonies, and made no mention of actions.

The Greens have asked Mr Hurley to clarify whether the omission was his idea.

“The question is, did he have a conversation with the prime minister? Was there any discussion with the government about not disclosing these appointments?”

Earlier this week, Hurley’s office defended his actions, saying he was following the process and had “no reason to believe” that Morrison’s appointment would not be communicated.
