ASUS Server Announces AI Development at NVIDIA GTC

ASUS, an IT company that provides server systems, server motherboards and workstations, has announced its presence at NVIDIA GTC, the developer conference for the age of AI and the Metaverse.

At this conference, ASUS will focus on three demonstrations that outline strategic developments in AI.

These include the methodology behind ASUS MLPerf Training v2.0 results that have achieved multiple breakthrough records. Success story of building an academic AI data center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. A research AI data center created in collaboration with Taiwan’s National Health Institute.

Regarding the details of the demonstration, the company said: “ASUS MLPerf Training v2.0 benchmark results improve machine learning performance and efficiency, allowing researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of AI training and inference based on specific server configurations.”

“Since 2021, ASUS has achieved multiple breakthrough records in the data center closed division across six AI benchmark tasks in AI training and inference of MLPerf Training v2.0. ASUS software engineers share their methodologies for achieving these world-class results and the company’s efforts to deliver more efficient AI workflows through machine learning.”

ASUS’ major academic AI breakthrough this year is a collaboration with KAUST. Ranked as the 8th fastest growing young university in terms of research output in 2019, the institution has adopted the ASUS ESC N4A-E11 HGX A100 server platform to contribute to its AI research portfolio. increase.

This server secured the 7 best performance results for MLPerf Training 2.0 with AMD EPYC 7773X GPUs and 4 NVIDIA HGX A100 GPUs.

This server is especially suitable for academic research due to its single CPU with four SXM architectures. In MLPerf Training 2.0, this single CPU ESC N4A-E11 outperformed dual CPU servers by up to 3.14 minutes.

ASUS has also worked with the National Institutes of Health Research (NHRI), one of Taiwan’s top data centers. NHRI is dedicated to medical research, biotechnology innovation through drug discovery, genomics analysis, and AI support.

ASUS offers comprehensive AI solutions in the form of RS720-E10 servers and NVIDIA DGX, as well as private cloud software that envisions the future of academic AI.

As a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes software conformance provider, ASUS is empowered to create more innovation and business opportunities in the AI space.

ASUS also announced that it will offer NVIDIA-certified servers with the latest NVIDIA H100 GPUs and the NVIDIA AI enterprise software suite by the end of the year.

NVIDIA H100 GPUs deliver unprecedented performance, scalability and security to any data center and include the NVIDIA AI enterprise software suite for streamlined AI development and deployment.

ASUS NVIDIA Certified Servers with 350W TDP H100 GPUs are optimized for top performance in GPU accelerated workloads and validated for key manageability, scalability and security features.

Since the release of NVIDIA Grace CPU chips in April, ASUS has been working with NVIDIA to accelerate the development of next-generation servers. This Arm-based CPU server refreshes the current hardware architecture to deliver better performance, improved power consumption, and highly flexible hardware design.

ASUS plans to release more details in 2023.
