Australia’s border to reopen for international visitors

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that Australia will reopen for vaccinated international arrivals on February 21.

“We have been gradually opening our borders since November last year, these programs have been very successful,” Mr Morrison said on Monday.

“Whether it was the programs we had with New Zealand or Singapore, and then with Japan and South Korea, opening up to foreign students and backpackers and financial migrants coming to Australia – this will now be extended to international visitors who will be able to return.

“The condition is that you have to get a double vaccine to come to Australia. This is the rule. “Everyone is expected to abide by it.”
