Baby giraffe at Milwaukee zoo makes goofy face when gender is announced

Wisconsin’s Milwaukee County Zoo revealed Tuesday that the latest giraffe calf in the zoo’s baby boom was a boy. The giraffe baby, born Friday, was his fourth calf in Baja with his parents Ziggy, according to the zoo. The zoo reported that the baby giraffe weighed him 168.7 pounds (76.5 kg) and during newborn examination he was just under 6 feet (1.8 m) tall. A video posted by the Milwaukee County Zoo was taken on Monday and shows a baby giraffe manipulating its mouth for a moment and frolicking around its enclosure.
