The 36 Jenkins Court home is owned by church minister, author and entrepreneur Ben Windle and his wife Cindy. She bought it for her $1.2 million as her deceased mansion in 2016 and has spent the next four years transforming it into her private escape. $3 million to rebuild her.

Windle is the pastor of LifePlace Church in Brisbane and hosts the radio show Life Matters on 96.5FM.

This property was previously listed at an asking price of $6.5 million, but was once listed as a five-star property on the short-term rental market for up to $3500 per week.

The outdoor entertainment area offers spectacular views.

Channel Nine also approached the family about using the house as a set for the Love Island series hosted by Sophie Monk, but the request was denied.

Existing homes on the site were demolished and rebuilt, and approximately five acres of the overgrown 20-acre block underwent painstaking demolition to make way for the now manicured lawns and gardens, including fruit trees. Done.

Among the long list of features is a tennis court.

A huge outdoor deck was added to the back of the house, overlooking a 3-way infinity pool, a full-size tennis court, and a half-size basketball court.

Everything about the home, including the pool placement, was built with the view in mind, including the floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom.

Other special features include a backlit marble island bench and wood-burning fireplace in the kitchen.

The property is set to go on sale on November 28, and Edin Cara, marketing agent for Ray White Sovereign Islands, said the owners are definitely enthusiastic about the sale.

“We had multiple offers before, but the owner was waiting for the right price,” Kara said.

“I think the market today is going to be priced pretty realistically.

Kara said he has seen interest from local and out-of-state buyers.
