Pressure is mounting on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson following the resignations of four members of his staff in the last 24 hours.
Downing Street Chief Policy Officer Munira Mirza resigned, but did not mention the party’s recent history for her own reasons – citing Mr Johnson’s comments against Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer.
Hours later, the communications chief also resigned, saying the revelations of the past few weeks had “taken a heavy toll” on his family.
This is the latest failure for Boris Johnson, who is trying to maintain support following allegations of partisanship at No. 10 during the national lockdown for COVID.
