A shocking video has revealed the moment a woman holding a baby was repeatedly beaten during a violent brawl on a public bus in Brisbane.
Footage of the horrifying incident shows at least four people engaging in a chaotic and violent brawl between seats on a bus, throwing punches and pulling hair.
In the midst of a frantic brawl is a woman holding a baby in a cloth sling. She can be heard yelling “my baby” as her other two hit or grab her.
A passenger on the bus appeared to see the baby and leaned forward to intervene in the fight, telling the group to leave the woman alone.
The video shows the bus driver leaving the front seat of the bus and walking down the aisle to clear up a fight. However, one of the brawlers stopped him and pushed him into his chest.
Later in the video, the bus driver can be seen approaching the group again and trying to disperse them.

According to 9 News, the incident has prompted calls from railway, tram and bus unions for better safety measures for drivers who are tired of encountering violence on the job.
Police said they were not aware of the bus brawl and had not received reports of similar incidents in the past several days.
