M.y My father got dial-up internet in 2005 and it rocked my world. I no longer have to spend my afternoons doing normal kid stuff and can now spend quality time in the dark shadows of the world wide web with my cool and very age-appropriate internet boyfriend. Not only that, the age of viral videos has arrived and I’m on board.

I was shaped by the internet and grew up by it. Feels like a disgusting and very smart brother that I have a love-hate relationship with. I was asked to curate a list of my top 10 favorites on the internet and these are the first 10 that came to mind. We hope you enjoy it.

2. The case of Fabio and the Goose

I have a complicated relationship with birds. It’s something Fabio and I have in common, and it’s also about being a graceful blonde with an immaculate physique. I was traumatized by the collision.

What I love about this video is that the incident itself never happened, just the aftermath. With goose blood oozing down his face, he remains calm even when a beautiful woman asks him if he’s okay. (Not because he’s a little embarrassed.) A true man of the people.

3. Kim Cattrall Scatting

I love when someone starts scatting passionately with reckless abandon to the roar of their lover’s upright bass. Kim Cattrall Is the problem the scatter? Understatement!

Recess therapy is Instagram An account that interviews New York City kids on a variety of topics. I’m not a big fan of kids in general, but I love these kids so much. If I can give birth to a child who is half as interesting as Kiki, I might consider having a child.

The 2017 marriage equality referendum was one of the most ridiculous decisions the Australian government has ever made, and it was a good idea. I don’t have much in common with Katter, but we share the belief that a thousand flowers should bloom.

One of my favorite songs covered by my favorite frog.

7. Reducing agent

This is one of the funniest pages on Instagram. I communicate with my friends almost exclusively through these images. They always hit right. It would be disrespectful to call them memes – it’s the sick gal’s favorite news source.

8. The story of Nina Simone who tried to kill a man

Nina Simone is one of the most powerful and unique artists of all time. This is a clip from her old interview with the BBC where she talked about how her label owner tried to kill him after stealing her records from her. She had no remorse, she laughed about it and then wiped her tears. I am always laughing with her. Please try to imagine.

9. Schwann Acken

Coming back to my relationship with birds, it really hit me hard when I found out swans have teeth. I was in Berlin at the time and found them to be more aggressive than other birds I had met. Fear of not being allowed into Berghain and fear of birds attacking at any moment. Anyway, I stumbled across the German Schwan Attacken channel that I often watch while lying in bed. I think it was some kind of obsessive-compulsive exposure therapy. However, I still live in fear of beaks and did not enter Berghain.

Jeff Goldblum played Big Bad Wolf in the 1980s production of Fairy Tale Theater. The smooth jazz and wolf prosthetic legs actually make him look like a giant Ratman.
