The new 10-story Bondi Junction Tower, called Bond, aims to meet the current desire for apartments with ample outdoor space.
In addition to many of the 81 apartments with large balconies, residents also have access to an outdoor cinema, barbecue area, private corners and a 350m2 rooftop with yoga lawns.
The plants surrounding the built-in seats include Bismarckian palms, agave, crape myrtle, small gem magnolias, and scented jasmine.
Peter Chittenden, Managing Director of Colliers, said:
“For many, the home is now our remote workplace, and more than ever we are focusing on lifestyle and convenience.

“Families are more often at home with us, we are more often at home with pets — space is becoming a more important consideration.”
Some apartments have an outdoor space that is the same size as the internal living area.
“Some balconies are 100-129 square meters and some are 232 square meters,” said Chittenden.
“These are pet-friendly and family-friendly spaces that are not easily available at Bondi Junction.”
Bond is the site of Club Bondi Junction RSL on Ebley Street and Bronte Road, one of Bondi Junction’s most famous corners, developed by the Australian company Capital Corporation.
A new and improved version of the RSL Club will be incorporated into the development.
It also has three retail spaces facing Bronte Road, which are expected to house restaurants and cafes and provide a new source of income for the organization.
“The following clubs are not only re-emerged as one of the most exciting new dining destinations in the east, but everything you need is just around the corner. Shopping,
I commute to work in the city for food, entertainment, or a short train, “said Chittenden.
Steve Grant, the first chairman of Capital Corporation, said Bond was planned to create a new future for the club as a continuing center of the community.
“We have been working with clubs for some time to help them plan for the future and prosper for the next generation,” he said.
The developers called on a top design team, including architect group GSA, interior design studio Koichi Takada architect, and placemaker Arvis.
Group GSA’s stunning exterior design includes unique “butterfly wings” that help create interesting façade above the podium level.
At the podium level, 10 apartments have the option of upgrading a well-kept courtyard space with tiles and decks to lawn. Inside, Koichi Takada’s team created two different interior schemes, dawn and dusk, in brighter or richer tones.
