Cobb County’s early voting line spans multiple blocks

The line for voting at the polling place in Marietta, Georgia, spanned multiple blocks on Monday, October 12, as early voting in the state began three weeks before the election date. Early on Monday, long lines were reported at several polling stations in Georgia. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that some technical issues at the State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta caused a delay of at least an hour, resulting in high turnout across the state. A footage shot by local resident Jeff Bliss on Monday morning shows a line forming outside the Cobb County Government Service Center, a pre-voting site for the city of Marietta.
