COVID-19 Spring Racing Carnival Fashion and Food

Dresses, hats, shoes, bags, and face masks to match this year. Welcome to the Coronavirus Spring Racing Carnival.

This is usually a busy time of the year for fashion designers, but like many other industries, social restrictions have a devastating effect. Two million people participate in the track at the Spring Carnival in a normal year, but this year the industry expects at most a small number of industry insiders and course members.

But I hope there is room for innovation and some race enthusiasts will want to celebrate the season when the carnival begins in earnest at the Caulfield Cup on Saturday.

“People are anxious to dress up and socialize again. After living in activewear for six months, now that small gatherings are possible, people want to celebrate the spring race at home or in the park. We’re out, “says designer Julia Torrance Hemingway. He added that this year’s collection has a twist on the lockdown look.
