Dozens of 2,500-year-old caskets found in Egypt

Egyptian archaeologists discovered 59 well-preserved 2,500-year-old caskets and published the results in the media on October 3. The casket was found in Saqqara, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Memphis graveyard site. This video from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities shows archaeologists being lowered deep into the tomb and carefully dusting the sarcophagus. The first 13 caskets were found there a few weeks ago. Experts said there may still be things that haven’t been discovered yet.Credit: Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt via Storyful
