Find a Sydneysider that has won $ 1.2 million

One of the lucky Sydney ciders won $ 1.2 million over the weekend, but they don’t know.

In the lottery draw on Saturday night, there were five Division 1 winners, three from NSW and two from WA, each winning $ 1,292,740.18.

Two NSW winners came out before, but the third hasn’t checked the ticket yet a few days after the draw.

A Lott spokesman said the tickets were purchased from the Engadine Central News agency and the winning numbers were 34, 12, 37, 24, 5, 26.

One of the other winning tickets was purchased by a Bexley airport worker who was forced to save time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When he was told he was victorious, the man was overjoyed and said to the lottery workers: “This is really, really good news!

“I work at the airport, but since COVID-19, I’ve only been able to work one or two days a week, which has been difficult.

“I can repay my mortgage and I don’t have to be stressed about my job while I wait for things to get back to normal.

“Very good! Such a relief!”

The third winner in New South Wales was a Cabramatta man. He said he would use the prize money to accelerate his retirement plans and help his family get up.

“I’m about to retire, but I’m definitely going to retire now,” he said.

“I don’t know exactly what to do with the prizes, but I think it feels great to be able to help the kids buy a house.”
