Ghislaine Maxwell gives shocking interview from prison about Prince Andrew

Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken out about her ‘dear friend’ Prince Andrew for the first time since prison.

In a World Exclusive interview from prison where she’s been serving 20 years for trafficking teenage girls, she confessed: I am following what is happening to him. ”

Maxwell, 60, sadly added after appearing upset when he was told that the prince’s lawyers claimed they were not close.

“He pays such a price for the association. I consider him a close friend. I care about him.”

It comes as the Duke of York struggles to save his image in the face of hostile public opinion and his mother’s grief over the Queen’s death. The Sun reports.

Maxwell even said he was convinced Andrew was the victim of falsified evidence in two explosive interviews, one of which was conducted face-to-face in prison.

She also spoke for the first time about her close friendships with former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, and her relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, “the biggest regret of my life.”

Our first meeting took place inside New York’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in June of this year as part of a CBS-Paramount Plus special, followed by a lengthy interview conducted remotely from her current prison in Florida. Done.

For the first time since her arrest in July 2020, Maxwell has spoken out about her regrets about her relationship with billionaire investor and sex abuser Epstein, which has made her a “wicked witch.” ‘ and claimed to have hurt loved ones. And she made it clear that she desperately wanted to turn her clock back.

“I said in court that meeting Epstein was the biggest mistake of my life,” Maxwell admits.

“Of course, if I could go back today, I would avoid seeing him and make other choices.”

Andrew is the only friend she has lost due to her ties to a big shot who was found dead in his cell at the age of 66 in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. There was not.

Former US President Bill Clinton, who traveled on the tycoon’s “Lolita Express” private jet, was another relationship she treasured.

“It was a special friendship that lasted through the years,” she said.

“We had a lot in common. I understand that you can’t consider me a friend.”

heavy price

One of the few people who has shown her allegiance, she says, is former President Donald Trump.

“We knew each other and hooked up in the same circle in Palm Beach, New York. I was so grateful when he cheered me up[after his arrest]. Got bad media, but he dared while others didn’t.

“I was honored that he remembered me. Well, he’s known to say what he thinks. It was a big encouragement.”

Maxwell complained that his friend was “cancelled” just because he knew her.

“There are many people affected by this story,” she said. “Friends of mine who had never even met Epstein lost their jobs. People who literally had nothing to do with him were canceled.

“For all those people … I think it was a very heavy price paid by the cancellation culture. It was very difficult for a lot of people.”

Nonetheless, she admitted that she was hurt by the lack of loyalty from her so-called friends, who once craved a place in the social circle.

“Some people let me down, some people are surprised I haven’t been more proactive,” she said. “I fully understand that people have livelihoods to protect … children to protect.

“But with that said, there are people who have personally stood by me. Quite a few actually, and I am very grateful for their personal support.

“I have friends I’ve known since kindergarten. It’s good to know there are people out there who really know who I am.

As for others, Maxwell believes she accepted a false version of her being the “wicked witch” in Epstein’s story. Told. “It’s tailored to the story. It has absolutely nothing to do with who I am.

“I am curious that so many people are choosing to contribute to fake, created versions of the Disney character, like the Wicked Witch. The real people who love , have never spoken.”

An intelligent woman who graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern Languages and has worked her whole life, Maxwell hates showing weakness.

“I think there are a lot of women who can relate to my story,” she said. I wonder if She thinks there is no woman on earth who doesn’t think so of her boyfriend. ”

However, she said she would not discuss individuals such as Epstein, Prince Andrew, or her husband, Scott Borgerson, who reportedly abandoned her over a prison phone call, until the appeal is heard.

Maxwell even refused to deny reports that she and Andrew were once a couple, claiming:

“If I pick one and not deal with all the others, it’s like, ‘Well, she said no to this. What about everyone else?’

“So I am not going to discuss anything of that nature. After the appeal, I am very pleased to be able to address any of these things with you.”

But can they be friends in the future? She said: “I have no expectations. People I was friends with, and very close friends… I can’t think of what they want or don’t want to do. “

In a startling turn, Maxwell branded one of the most damaging exhibits in the lawsuit against Andrew a counterfeit… grabbing the bare abdomen of teenage sex slave Virginia Giuffre Here’s a picture of him infamous.

“This photo is not real”

It is said to have been filmed at Maxwell’s London home in March 2001. Maxwell standing in the background is grinning.

“This photo is not real,” she claimed, backing up Andrew’s earlier claims.

“No original product was created.” She declined to say more about Giuffre. Giuffre sued Prince for sexual abuse and accepted her $12 million in damages reported earlier this year.

The prince withdrew his defense against Giuffre’s lawsuit and agreed to pay – turning him into a palatial pariah and barring him from any royal duties.

Epstein’s attorney Alan Dershowitz asked her if the photo was real. That’s right. “

In that regard, Maxwell argued, “I cannot recognize the photograph and I do not believe it to be a real photograph.” She then claimed that all she wanted to say in that email was that she recognized her home.

“I said it’s that image that I perceive as my home, whatever it is,” she explained in a rambling response. I have found that image to be true, and since the original does not exist, it has never been produced, and I do not believe it to be a true image.”

Did she reply to Dershowitz without thinking? “If you look at a picture and it’s a picture of you in your house and someone tells you, is it a picture of you? So you don’t ask.

At the time, I had no idea that someone had created a photo or done anything with it… I recognized the surroundings of the photo, but nothing more. Maxwell claimed that “the photo has more than 50 issues with her,” which led her to her conclusion that it was fake.
