Former Dockers Fitness Boss Lands New Gig with Perth Glory

Former Dockers High Performance Manager Jason Weber was appointed as Perth Glory’s Strength and Conditioning Coach just months after being fired by the AFL Club.

Fremantle plagued recent AFL campaigns by breaking the 12-year-old relationship between the club and Weber, who was increasingly scrutinized by its fan base after soft tissue injuries and rehabilitation issues.

Dockers started 12 years later with fitness boss Jason Weber.

It was unclear whether Weber would stay at the University of Washington, where he was appointed Senior Researcher in September.

“I joined a unique team at the Minderoo Technology & Policy Lab in UWA’s Faculty of Law to investigate the ownership and use of data in sports,” said his LinkedIn profile.
