How Much Does Apple’s HomePod Mini Cost in Australia?

Apple started today’s iPhone 12 event with the announcement of something else, the HomePod Mini. Here’s what Australians need to know:

Then, the first gadget out of the Apple rank this year was the HomePod Mini. As the name implies, it’s a smorboi version of the HomePod that already exists in nature.

The HomePod Mini includes the same S5 chip as the Apple Watch, and the U1 chip found in some, but not all, Apple products. It gives it ultra-wideband functionality, which helps with things like tracking and smart home features.

Of course, this also meant that Apple lyrically talked about privacy being very important and your data being very secure at HomePod Mini. According to the company, audio can be distinguished, everything is encrypted, recordings are stored only when needed, and personal requests only work if you have an iPhone. It also means that you need an iPhone to use it.

Apple also said the HomePod Mini has great sound and upgrades to Siri features. Also, if you want to listen to music or podcasts, it will work with third-party apps such as Pandora, Amazon Music, and iHeartRadio. However, if you’re a Spotify user, you can only hear crickets. It was clearly missing from the game.

The most important new feature is the intercom system. It allows you to send voice notes to other HomePods in your home and can even be specified by room or zone. It also works on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and CarPlay and is compatible with AirPods.
