Shami’s heavy spells, Rahul’s batting masterclass help India beat Australia by 6 runs in warm-up match

brisbane [Australia]17 October (ANI): A brilliant knock from KL Rahul and a 3-wicket-hole masterclass from Mohammed Shami gives India a 6-run defeat to Australia and hosts 180 points in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up match bundled up. Gabba in Brisbane on Monday.

In India, Mohammed Shami scored an impressive three-wicket hole while veteran pacer Bubneshwar Kumar scalped two wickets. In Australia, Aaron Finch played captain Knock with 54 runs Off 76 and Mitchell Marsh scored 18 Runs Off 35.

Then Dinesh Karthik came out to bat. Karthik tried to take a shot, but Richardson’s delivery hit a fielder who was placed deep mid-wicket. Karthik departed after playing a 20-run cameo in 14 deliveries.

However, Suryakumar continued the carnage on the Australian bowlers as he struck out Pat Cummins for 14 runs in an innings of 18. In the final over of the inning, Suryakumar made half a century off his 33rd.

In the final over of the innings Richardson struck back to back for India, dismissing Suryakumar Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin to limit Men in Blue to a total of 186/7 in 20 overs.
