When asked about Walker’s reaction to the arrest, Doherty said, “I don’t think he’s very happy.

“I think he was pretty surprised and caught off guard when he was arrested for murder. I don’t think he was very happy to be in custody.”

Walker will also be charged with multiple arson charges on Friday afternoon in connection with the alleged petrol bomb.

At the end of the announcement, Arthur’s mother Julie Szabo exchanged a hug with Doherty.

Szabo, who said he had previously met the suspect who killed his son, texted Walker at a news conference on Friday.

“You are not above the law,” she said.

Sabo says that while Walker’s arrest was emotional for her, she now has a positive outlook.

“I want you to remember that he was a loving, caring boy, and he was my son, Arthur,” she said.
