Man dies after being attacked by dog on Queensland property
A 42-year-old man was found unconscious with serious injuries in the front yard of a fenced property on Ison Road in Greenbank.
The Marsden man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A crime scene was declared after police and paramedics arrived at the home before 11am.
Police found three dogs in the yard and handed them over to the council animal control officer.
The homeowner was not on the property at the time.
Ison Road was closed while detectives and forensics investigated the scene.
Work Safe Australia was notified as the man was working in the Green Bank area at the time.
A police spokeswoman said the man was an Energex contractor.
Police plan to prepare a report for the coroner as the investigation into the case continues.
