Abe closed the lights on De Souza with a picture-perfect one-two in the second round of the showdown at Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

De Souza crumpled into the canvas after his right hand was attached and lay unconscious on his back.

However, Abe didn’t stop there and landed a brutal soccer kick straight into a fallen and defenseless De Souza.

And fans of the fight were never satisfied with the nasty strikes.

One tweet said: Guy should be ashamed.”

Another user said:

“Unfortunately… this is legal”

Soccer kicks are illegal in most MMA promotions around the world, including UFC, which has adopted the sport’s uniform rules.

However, in ONE Championship and RIZIN, Asia-based bout promotions, offensive strikes and knee kicks to the head of a fallen opponent are legal.

However, some fans have asked that all promotions be allowed to strike.

As one fan said, “The best set of rules in MMA.”

Another user said: Unified MMA rules are garbage. ”

The win over De Souza put the 30-year-old Abe to 5-1 in his last six matches.
