New 10th Gen iPad Rumored to Feature All-New Design and USB-C Port

The 10th generation iPad, which will be released later this year, will have a completely new design, according to leaked renderings of the device from the case maker.

My smart price We’ve sent out an email to Tech Guide (and a number of other tech sites I believe) with the subject line: Tip – Exclusive – iPad 2022 CAD Renders Leaked and Coming Soon.

A link in the email showed some images of what are reportedly CAD renderings of the 2022 entry-level iPad.

A rear single camera with flat edges on both sides and a ridge similar to that first seen on the iPhone X.

From the front, the iPad looks almost identical to the 9th generation model and includes a home button.

However, renderings suggest the display could be slightly larger.

The current 9th generation iPad is 10.2 inches, so it’s entirely possible that the 10th generation version will be a few millimeters larger, perhaps 10.5 or 10.9 inches.

The new iPad measures 24.86cm x 17.95cm and is expected to be 6.9mm thick.

The current iPad measures 25.06cm x 17.41cm and is 7.5mm thick.

So this means 10.th The gen iPad will be shorter, wider and thinner.

These renders also show speaker grilles on the top and bottom edges of the iPad, which may also suggest a quad speaker arrangement.

Another area of speculation is whether the iPad will retain its Lightning port or move to a USB-C port to offer the same connectivity as every other iPad in the lineup.

The latest versions of the new iPad and iPad Pro models are expected to be announced in October.

However, it is possible that it will be announced at the same time as the iPhone 14 next month.
