Ongoing restoration work as a Delta Downs power line in Louisiana

Recovery efforts continued in Louisiana on October 11, after the Hurricane Delta landed in Louisiana on Friday night, causing widespread damage. Weakened to Category 2 before landing, Delta brought winds of 100 mph to the towns of Creole and Lake Charles, bringing down power lines and damaging property. WAFB9 reported that thousands of residents remained deprived of electricity on Sunday as the crew worked on repairing power lines. According to Jennifer Mitchell, who shot the footage, the video shows the damage on Saturday in Creole, Louisiana. Credit: Jennifer Mitchell via Storyful
