New attack on Ukraine targets critical infrastructure ahead of winter

Kyiv/Mykolaiv: Russian missiles hit infrastructure targets across Ukraine on Tuesday, as Moscow stepped up what appeared to be a deliberate campaign to destroy electricity and water utilities before winter.

“Ukraine is under attack from the occupiers. They continue to do their best to terrorize and kill civilians,” Zelensky wrote on the Telegram messaging app.

“A terrorist state does not change itself by such actions. It only confirms its destructive and murderous nature, and is certainly held accountable.”

There was no immediate announcement on how many people died in the strike.
