The daughter of a late Nashville-area police lieutenant was escorted by police on her first day of kindergarten, according to a post on the La Vergne Police Facebook page. According to the post, police officers surrounded Anna Strinsky as she made her way to the front door in honor of her late father, Lieutenant Kevin Jay Strinsky of the La Vergne, Tennessee Police Department. The footage shows police lining up outside the school as Anna high-fives and hugs a member on the way before she is escorted into the school by police officers. Local news reports Kevin Strinsky, who died while on duty due to a medical emergency in November 2021, was also a U.S. Navy veteran, according to.
