Protesters ‘plan to march right by cathedral’ during Cardinal Pell’s funeral

Sky News host Andrew Bolt said at the funeral of Cardinal George Pell in Sydney on Thursday, protesters “want to meet the mourners face to face.”

“An LGBTQ group called Community Action for Rainbow Rights Activists plans to march 300 people past the cathedral tomorrow as Pell’s friends and admirers mourn his death. .

“A protest at the funeral?”

Mr Bolt said police and demonstrators “agreed a compromise” this afternoon.

“Demonstrators march up to the street where the cathedral is, but not down.

“Let’s see if they can keep their promise.”
