“Winter is usually quiet, but this week alone we made $24 million in sales,” says Mian.

Property records show that the block was put up for sale in 2014, before construction of the new homes began.

The listing at the time said the vendor had purchased it elsewhere, but the property was never sold.

According to REA PropTrack data, the median home price in Mermaid Beach has risen 45% in the past 12 months to a whopping $2.85 million.
