Trooper narrowly avoids collision when driver attempts to overtake in no passing zone
Oregon state troopers narrowly avoided a collision with a vehicle that violated traffic laws on an Oregon highway on August 2 after crossing the two yellow lines. The footage shows a white sedan about to pass a truck on a two-way street. The trooper was able to avoid a head-on collision by pulling over to the shoulder of his US-20 highway near Burns. The Oregon State Police wrote: Drivers ignoring the double yellow line on the road” – indicates no overtaking. They advised drivers to perceive the double yellow line as a “solid wall that cannot be crossed”.Credit: Oregon State Police via Storyful
