Sky News host Rowan Dean said the Voice to Parliament referendum was racist and would “split Congress down the middle.”
He said people are already seeing the “damage” done to Indigenous Australians by the elimination of cashless debit cards.
“Jacinta Price affirms that the cashless debit cards introduced by the Coalition .. have done amazing things to help women and children in these communities,” Dean said.
“We have to take the word of someone like Jacinta Price who is a member of them and works with them. When she says this maybe shouldn’t be cancelled, your voice is there.” We have your voice from indigenous communities.”
