Zurich Australia CIO resigns – Training and Development – Finance

Zurich Financial Services Australia’s Chief Information Officer, Michael McKeown, will be stepping down.

The company last week advertisement CIO to “lead the design and effective implementation of IT strategy and transformation of IT delivery models” [the] Zurich operations in Australia and New Zealand.

iTnews has confirmed that McKeown, who has been in the CIO role since last September, plans to step down.

It is understood that he will remain with the company while a permanent replacement is sought.

Zurich said in the job ad that CIOs “have end-to-end responsibility for maintaining IT strategies, projects and applications across the country, and delivering enhancements.”

Zurich Financial Services Australia is the local arm of Zurich Insurance Group, a multi-insurer that serves customers around the world.
