Australia’s Diamonds lost 52-48 to New Zealand’s Silver Ferns in the second Constellation Cup Test.
Australia went on a two-game losing streak in the Constellation Cup, while New Zealand won 52-48 in Tauranga.
The Diamonds maintained a one-point lead at quartertime and halftime before the Silver Ferns dominated the match in the third term.
The home side led 39-34 at the final break, but held the lead well into the fourth quarter.
The Silverferns won the series opener over Auckland 56-48.
The Constellation Cup has moved to Australia, with the final two tests in Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
