Jay Shah, son of Home Minister Amit Shah, has been re-elected as secretary of the world’s richest cricket board. He is also president of the Asian Cricket Council.

At its annual general meeting in Mumbai, the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) also approved the women’s Indian Premier League.

A bowling all-rounder in his playing days, Vinny was part of the Indian team that won the World Cup in England in 1983. This victory sparked India’s obsession with the game.
