The Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Telstra and the Council of Small Business Organizations Australia (COSBOA) have launched an initiative to provide cyber certifications to small businesses.

The pilot aims to train up to 500 cyber observers in digital safety skills over the next 12 months through a certified e-learning platform.

The new cyber warden is the Australian Cyber ​​Security Centre’sEssential Eight’ Guidelines covering mitigation strategies to prevent cyberattacks.

Trained cyber monitors will be better able to recognize cyber threats, set digital standards and educate staff on common attacks, the organization said.
