At that point, he was informed that he was actually the leader of another fantasy franchise – game of thrones’ Nicolai Coster-Waldau, aka Jaime Lannister.

“Oh my God, I got his name wrong all day. I made a video for his kids and got the name wrong. I called this guy Viggo Mortensen all day… And it wasn’t his name.

France added: I fell in love with this guy at first sight! It was probably one of my most embarrassing stories. “

At doco, Tan explores the issue of skin tone and colorism in society and reveals for the first time that he bleached his skin at a young age.

“I was a little darker than many in the South Asian community,” he said. “I often hear comments that if you want to get married or have a good job, you want to lighten your mood.”

Tan was bleached twice, at the ages of 9 and 16.

“When I think about it, I have nieces and nephews who are about 9 or 10 years old, and it makes me sick to think that they are fully aware of their color and underestimate their color. They have to find a solution and one of those solutions is bleaching.”
