Missile hits Ukrainian port city: 1 killed

A Russian missile hit an apartment complex in the southern Ukraine port city of Mykolaiv, Reuters eyewitnesses said.

The missile completely destroyed one wing of downtown buildings in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving a huge crater. Witnesses said firefighters pulled a man’s body out of the rubble.

Residents of the building were taking refuge in the basement when the missile hit. A resident said the dead man was under a wing that had collapsed after a missile hit.

Local government officials identified the missile as an S300.

A drone strike hit the Eberi marine terminal in Mikola Iu on Sunday night, officials said, damaging a sunflower storage tank and setting fire to leaking oil.
