SES responded to over 250 calls for flood assistance in Victoria over a 24-hour period beginning at 6am on Sunday.
Volunteers completed 88 flood rescues, with more than 20 vehicles submerged in the flood waters.
SES has received more than 2,700 flood-related calls for help since the weather began on Wednesday. The majority of calls over the past two days have been from Regional Centers Rochester, Shepperton and Seymour.
Approximately 6,000 people are without power in Shepparton, Rochester, Serpentine and surrounding areas in northern Victoria.
SES estimated on Saturday that there were 583 facilities affected by the floods. That number is expected to increase dramatically over the next few days..

Another 500 facilities have been isolated by the flood.
With large provincial cities on high alert, Victoria Police Chief David Clayton has urged people to heed the advice of emergency services before it’s too late.
“We expect to see unprecedented large-scale evacuations in the coming days, so heed these warnings and evacuate when asked,” he said.
SES chief Tim Wiebush said 4,000 facilities could be flooded in Shepperton alone in the next few days.
