“There’s a lot to be said” about UK Prime Minister Liz Truss’ mini-budget, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“The turmoil surrounding Britain’s new prime minister, Liz Truss, highlights how difficult it is now to govern effectively from the center right,” she said.

“Governments need to cut taxes and regulations to reward hard work and build economic growth.

“The problem with the Truss mini-budget is the combination of tax cuts and extra spending.

“And when it took the market by surprise, rather than explain or defend it, Truss hid from the media and barely left his Downing Street bunker for over a week.”
