Two people, including a bystander, were shot in the face at Logan on Saturday, and police are investigating whether the incidents are related.
A 58-year-old woman was the first victim of the shooting at around 3:30pm in Crestmead, south of Brisbane.
According to police, a man emerged from a dark-colored Mazda CX9 and started arguing with another man in Bixcote’s front yard.
The altercation escalated as shots were fired at the occupants, but the shots missed and hit a 58-year-old woman instead.
She was taken to hospital where she sustained non-life-threatening injuries on Sunday morning.

About five and a half hours later, at 9pm, a drive-by shooting took place at his home in Eagleby, about ten kilometers away.
Police said a white or silver Mitsubishi Lancer broke into Cowper Avenue and opened fire on a man in the front yard of the house as it passed the address.
He was also treated for facial injuries and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators appealed to anyone who may have seen either vehicle or who may have relevant dashcam footage to contact CrimeStopper on 1800 333 000.
